Hello. Thanks for the kind comments. I've read a few works by the Marquis de Sade, including The 120 Days of Sodom, which Pasolini's Salo was based on. I think Pasolini did an excellent job of placing De Sade's work within the context of political fascism. It would have been impossible to film a completely faithful version of the novel anyway.
